The application for the patent was published on July 24, 2026, under issue no. 30/2026.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a tamper-responsive electronic enclosure apparatus (100) for protecting cryptographic material or device authentication material. The apparatus (100) comprises a dielectric enclosure body (101) having an internal conductive boundary layer (102) defining an internal radio-frequency reflective volume (103). A printed circuit board (106) is disposed within the internal radio-frequency reflective volume (103) and is associated with a radio-frequency transceiver (107), an internal antenna (105), a radio-frequency transmission line (108), a directional coupler (109), an envelope detection circuit (111), a controller or microcontroller (113), a protected storage or secure element (114), and a tamper response circuit (115). The radio-frequency transceiver (107) emits a diagnostic radio-frequency signal through the internal antenna (105), and the directional coupler (109) samples reflected radio-frequency energy through a reflected radio-frequency sample path (110). The envelope detection circuit (111) converts the reflected radio-frequency energy into an analog detector signal supplied to an analog input or analog-to-digital converter input (112). The controller or microcontroller (113) compares the analog detector signal with a reference condition and causes the tamper response circuit (115) to generate a tamper response signal (116) when a tamper condition is detected.
