The application for the patent was published on September 04, 2026, under issue no. 36/2026.
Abstract: A system 100 for aerial target tracking includes an unmanned aerial vehicle 200 including a multi-rotor aerial platform 202, a plurality of sensors including an on-board camera 102, an inertial measurement unit 104 and positing module 106; and an on-board controller 108 including embedded processing unit 110 and a plurality of modules 114. The system 100 perform real-time detection and tracking of the target in a close loop operation using on-board controller 108 employing machine- learning models and sensor fusion to generate and transmits control commands to an on-board flight controller 116 based on the real-time target position and motion detected continuously, thereby enabling continuous autonomous tracking without reliance on external computation or cloud-based services to complete mission objectives.
