Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method for unlocking and securing a vehicle (100) using biometric authentication for secure access.. The system captures biometric data and validates the authorized user for vehicle operation. If authentication fails, the system sends a secondary authorization request to the personal device (124) of the user and sends an alert notifications to one or more devices (116) to notify the user if the vehicle is moved. Additionally, the system sends details of unauthorized attempt to the personal device (124) of the user. Upon receiving approval, the system enables vehicle operation, if declined, operation is disallowed.
