Abstract: The present invention relates to a multi-organ phantom system 100 and method for radiation dosimetry and computed tomography imaging validation. The multi-organ phantom system 100 comprises a framework 200 and a plurality of phantom modules 300 including six distinct modules 300 configured to replicate hepatic, pulmonary, cardiac, splenic, renal, and skeletal tissues respectively. Each phantom module 300 exhibits three-dimensional anatomical geometry and radiological properties substantially equivalent to biological tissue, with Hounsfield Unit values differing by less than 6 HU from corresponding live tissue measurements. The fabrication method involves CT-based anatomical modeling, material selection based on tissue-equivalent densities ranging from 1.0 to 1.9 g/cm³, controlled fabrication using specific mixing ratios and curing parameters, and statistical validation confirming radiological equivalence. The multi-organ phantom system 100 achieves 4-fold improved anatomical accuracy and 3-fold reduced dose measurement variability compared to conventional single-organ phantoms, thereby providing a reproducible, ethical alternative for preclinical imaging research.
