Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for wireless energy transfer using resonant inductive coupling. The device comprises a transmitter unit having a power input stage, high-frequency inverter, transmitter resonant coil assembly, compensation network, sensing elements and controller, and a receiver unit having a receiver resonant coil assembly, compensation network, rectification stage, regulation stage and load interface. The transmitter and receiver coil assemblies are tuned to substantially corresponding resonant frequencies for transferring electrical energy across a non-conductive gap. The controller monitors operating parameters including coil current, coil voltage, phase angle, reflected impedance, temperature and coupling condition, and dynamically adjusts operating frequency, power level or compensation value to maintain efficient transfer. The device further includes foreign object detection, thermal supervision, receiver identification and communication- based power regulation. The invention improves charging safety, alignment tolerance and transfer efficiency while eliminating exposed conductive contacts for electronic, medical, industrial and portable power applications.
