The system (100) comprises a first input interface (102) for receiving wardrobe images of user-owned garments, a second input interface (104) for receiving an inspiration image depicting inspiration garments, a memory (106) storing a structured wardrobe database (112), a display interface (108), and one or more processors (110). The one or more processors (110) remove background portions from each wardrobe image and segment a corresponding garment to obtain an isolated garment image, extract garment attributes and a wardrobe feature vector, detect inspiration garments, align feature vectors across image domains, compute similarity scores, classify exact matches, partial matches, or missing items, generate a personalised avatar from body measurement data, apply a garment using garment warping and drape simulation, and render a virtual try-on visualisation and matching result on display interface (108).
