Abstract: ABSTRACT A SYSTEM FOR TREATING CONTAMINATED WATER AND A METHOD FOR OPERATING AND CONTROLLING THEREOF Disclosed is a system (10) for treating contaminated water and a method for operating the system. This system treats contaminated water using a continuous-flow process. Contaminated water is collected in a collection tank (2) and fed into a treatment apparatus (100) containing a submerged device that releases reactive species. These species react with contaminants to form flocs and residual matter. A flow-generating arrangement (124) creates secondary flow to agitate the water and enhance the treatment reactions. Treated water then passes to a separator (4), which removes the flocs and residual matter, while treated water is collected in a treated water tank (6). The system also includes sensors, an input interface, and a controller for monitoring and automation. The controller (500) receives data, compares them with reference data, and adjusts system settings. If measurements deviate from predefined thresholds, the controller (500) can implement control actions to optimize treatment and water quality. FIG. 1
