MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641110576 A) filed by Krupanidhi Degree College; and Tincy Susan Baby on September 15, 2026, for A System For Spring-Pulse Dynamic Sloshing Response Based Liquefied Gas Estimation.

Inventor includes Tincy Susan Baby.

The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a spring-pulse dynamic sloshing response system for estimating liquefied gas remaining in a portable pressure cylinder without continuous weighing or cylinder modification. The system comprises a cylinder-support platform on compliant lateral-motion elements, a spring-energy storage member, an over-centre latch release generating a repeatable lateral mechanical pulse, and an inertial sensing unit acquiring a time-domain response. A processor extracts features from an immediate response window representing rigid-body movement and a delayed response window containing liquid-sloshing oscillation. A normalized sloshing index is converted to remaining quantity using cylinder-specific calibration and temperature compensation. Stability sensing inhibits measurements during tilt or incorrect seating, and repeated-pulse agreement ensures confidence, providing improved estimation accuracy, enhanced safety, low cost, and reusable non- invasive operation.
