MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521026869 A) filed by Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited on March 24, 2025, for A System For Regulating Vibrations Of An Engine.

Inventors include Sujay Patil; and S Senthilnathan.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a system (100) for regulating vibrations of an engine (20). The system (100) includes a housing (10) connectable to the engine (20), covering an input device (50). The input device (50) displaces in and out of an opening (26a) in a combustion chamber (26). A biasing element (12) is disposed within the housing (10) and connected to the input device. An actuator (14) disposed within the housing (10) and operatively coupled to the input device (50). The actuator (14) is adapted to selectively displace the input device out of the combustion chamber (26). Further, a control unit (40) is communicatively coupled the actuator (14), and configured to selectively actuate the actuator (14) during engine shut-off to displace the input device out of the combustion chamber (26) and release pressurized gas from the combustion chamber (26) to regulate vibrations during engine shut-off. Figures. 1 and 2 are the representative figures.
