The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.

Abstract: The present invention provides a system and method for multi-spectral solid waste material information provenance. A multi-spectral material data acquisition subsystem acquires multi-modal sensing information and generates waste intake information records. A material intelligence subsystem generates unified material representations and determines material characterization attributes using an artificial intelligence model, thereby generating Waste Intake Scan Certificates (WISCs). A material identity subsystem generates persistent material identities, cryptographically derived Batch Identity Tokens (BITs), and material lineage records representing material transformations. A material provenance subsystem correlates the WISCs, BITs, and lineage records, while a material verification subsystem verifies cryptographic integrity, chain-of-custody continuity, and material mass balance. A material recovery subsystem associates chemical tracer information with recovered material, detects the tracer in manufactured products, and generates recycled content certificates linking the products with corresponding BITs and provenance records, thereby enabling verifiable material recovery, recycled content, and EPR compliance.
