MUMBAI, India, Sept. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621064894 A) filed by Shreekant Ramesh Chincholikar; and Saina Shreekant Chincholikar on May 22, 2026, for A System For Monitoring Inventory And Automated Replenishment.
Inventors include Shreekant Ramesh Chincholikar; and Saina Shreekant Chincholikar.
The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.
Abstract: A system (100) for monitoring inventory and automated replenishment is disclosed. The system (100) comprises a microcontroller (105) affixed on a detachable smart base (200) to monitor content stored within a container (130) by periodically comparing measured weight and pressure-based stock levels with previously recorded data, detecting changes relative to predefined thresholds, and transmitting data independent of any change in data at regular intervals. The system (100) further includes a power-saving module (110), a battery unit (120), and a double-pole double-throw power switch (115) for efficient power management and safe shutdown. Stock level data is transmitted to a cloud server through a wireless communication medium. The system (100) supports wireless charging using a modular wireless charging mat. An application interface (125) enables users to assign unique identities to containers (130), configure reorder thresholds, receive notifications, and automate replenishment workflows via supplier interfaces, thereby enabling efficient, low-power, and reliable inventory management.
