Abstract: ABSTRACT “A SYSTEM FOR MONITORING HEALTH OF A CASTING UNIT AND A METHOD THEREOF” The present disclosure discloses a system (100) for monitoring health of a casting unit. The 5 system includes a plurality of flanges (1), each of the plurality of flanges is rotatably coupled to one of a plurality of non-drive rollers (2). A sensing element (3) provisioned on each of the plurality of flanges. A first sensor (4) fixedly positioned proximal to each of the plurality of flanges and configured to generate a signal when the sensing element (3) comes in close proximity to the first sensor. Control unit (5) communicatively coupled to first sensor and 10 configured to receive signal from first sensor, determine a rotational speed of plurality of non-drive rollers based upon signal and compare rotational speed with a predefined speed. Generating a warning when there is a deviation in the rotational speed as compared to the predefined speed. 15 Fig. 1 is the representative figure.
