Abstract: The invention relates to an IoT-based industrial safety monitoring system that provides integrated real-time detection and response for fire hazards, gas leakage, and electrical faults in industrial environments. The system comprises a sensor module including gas sensor (103), temperature sensor (102), flame sensor (104), current and voltage sensors, optionally soil moisture sensor (105) and ultrasonic sensor (108), all interfaced to a microcontroller processing unit (101) powered by a battery (112). The microcontroller acquires and analyzes sensor data using predefined thresholds to identify hazardous conditions, and communicates via a wireless communication module to a cloud monitoring platform accessible through a laptop (114) for remote visualization, data logging, and predictive analytics. A safety control unit comprising relay module (109), buzzer (107), LED (106), and a DC 5V submersible water pump (110) with sprinkler head (111) powered by a 9V battery (113) enables automatic actuation of alarms, ventilation, electrical isolation, and fire suppression when abnormal conditions are detected. The system thus delivers multi-hazard, IoT- enabled, and partially predictive industrial safety by combining edge processing, cloud connectivity, and automatic safety response within a single scalable platform.
