Abstract: The present invention relates to a system (100) for a manually operated dual-sided sanding machine. The system includes a mounting table (110) configured to support a workpiece and mechanical components, a pedal assembly (120) coupled to a pedal shaft (122), a primary drive sprocket (130) mounted on the pedal shaft (122), a driven sprocket (140) mounted on an upper drive shaft (142), and a drive chain (150) connecting the primary drive sprocket (130) to the driven sprocket (140). The system further includes a rotating crank arm (160), a connecting rod (170), a pivot joint (172), a sliding assembly (180), a slider-crank groove (190), left and right sanding plates (182, 184), sandpaper sheets (186), a sprocket stand (200), and joining links (202). Pedalling rotates the sprockets and moves the sanding plates in a guided linear direction for flat-surface sanding without electrical or pneumatic power.
