Abstract: ABSTRACT A SYSTEM FOR MANAGING BRAKING ENERGY IN A VEHICLE The present disclosure relates to a system (100) and method for managing braking energy in a vehicle by synchronizing energy recovery with active air purification. The system (100) comprises a battery (110), a vehicle motor (108) for propelling wheels (106), and an air purifier (102) comprising an air filter (102a), a fan (102b), and a motor (102c). A vehicle control unit VCU (104) monitors battery state of charge SoC (112) to dynamically select between friction, regenerative, and hybrid braking strategies. The VCU (104) activates the air purifier (102) to consume excess regenerative energy when the SoC (112) is between 88% and 90%. Above 90% SoC (112), regenerative braking is deactivated, while below 84%, the VCU (104) restricts the purifier to prioritize battery charging. An instrument cluster (114) provides status notifications via an air purification symbol (102d). The system optimizes efficiency and air quality for two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles.
