Abstract: The present invention discloses an IoT-based smart medical monitoring system for elderly patients configured for continuous multi-parameter physiological surveillance and automated emergency alert generation. The system comprises a multi-parameter sensor subsystem including blood pressure, AD8232 ECG, DHT11 temperature, and PIR motion sensors operatively coupled to a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B processing unit with 1.2 GHz quad-core processor. Acquired sensor data is evaluated against predetermined physiological thresholds generating alert commands upon abnormal condition detection. A GSM notification subsystem transmits automated SMS and email alerts containing blood pressure, heartbeat rate, body temperature, and motion status to physicians, family members, and emergency services. A cloud communication subsystem transmits health data through 2G, 3G, or 4G connectivity for remote physician access and longitudinal analysis. The system provides low-cost continuous elderly patient monitoring, automated emergency notification, reduced physician office visits, and improved remote healthcare management.
