The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: The present disclosure proposes a system (100) for interrupt-driven classroom energy optimization using ultrasonic-triggered selective activation of CCTV and edge- machine-learning processing, occupant-location mapping for targeted relay-based appliance control, and location-correlated thermal monitoring to reduce unnecessary continuous operation of higher-power vision-processing resources during standby. The system (100) comprises a plurality of ultrasonic transceivers (102A-102D), an image capture device (104), a thermal imaging device (106), solid-state relay channels (108A-108D), region-associated electrical appliance sets (110A-110D), and an edge computing device (112) having a processor (114), memory (116), and machine-learning inference engine (118). Localized ultrasonic movement generates a GPIO hardware interrupt that activates limited-frame image acquisition, maps detected person bounding-box coordinates to a classroom region, and selectively actuates the corresponding relay-controlled fan and light. A manual override mechanism (120) provides timed restoration of automatic operation.
