Abstract: The present invention relates to a system for intelligent power distribution using IoT and smart grid analytics. The system comprises a plurality of IoT sensing nodes deployed at feeders, transformers, switching devices, distributed energy resource points and consumer clusters for measuring electrical and environmental parameters. An edge intelligence unit performs local filtering, event detection and preliminary anomaly identification. A smart grid analytics platform processes real-time and historical data with network topology information to determine load forecasts, phase imbalance, fault location, asset health, voltage deviation, energy loss indication and distributed energy resource coordination. A decision and control module generates operator-approved or automated actions including feeder reconfiguration, load transfer, demand response, capacitor switching, tap adjustment, energy storage dispatch and faulty section isolation. The system improves reliability, reduces distribution losses, enables predictive maintenance, supports renewable integration and provides secure, topology-aware and adaptive control of electrical power distribution networks.
