Abstract: A SYSTEM FOR HIGH-THROUGHPUT SPRAY DETECTION IN A SAMPLE HOLDER ARRAY The present invention discloses a system for throughput screening of a sample holder array for detecting the presence of sample collection vials, anticoagulant layer, spray droplets, and collected liquid using reflected light patterns. A light source illuminates a bottom region of the vial, and a detector captures reflected light from the vial, layer, label, droplets, and collected fluid. Baseline comparisons enable accurate detection. A light redirection layer enhances sensitivity and compensates for vial labels. Processed signals are transmitted to a real-time graphical user interface, enabling monitoring and alerts during spray processing. FIG.1
