The system (100) comprises a plurality of quantum processing nodes (101), each node comprising a plurality of qubits (102), a local control unit (103), and a measurement unit (104), an entanglement generation module (105), a cluster-state preparation module (106), a classical control and feedforward unit (107), and a communication interface (108). The plurality of quantum processing nodes (101) comprises plurality of qubits (102), a local control unit (103), and a measurement unit (104). The entanglement generation module (105) establishes entanglement between qubits across nodes. The cluster-state preparation module (106) generates a distributed entangled resource state. The classical control and feedforward unit (107) processes measurement outcomes and determines subsequent measurement bases. The communication interface (108) enables transmission of quantum and classical information between nodes.
