The system (100) has a location determination unit (102) to determine a current location of a user and the vehicle (10). The system (100) has a communication path selection unit (104) to receive an input from the user for performing one or more operations related to the vehicle (10) and determines a distance of the user from the vehicle, based on the received current location of the vehicle (10) and the user. Lastly, the communication path selection unit (104) selects a communication path for establishing the communication with the vehicle (10) and performing the one or more operations related to the vehicle (10), based on the determined distance of the user from the vehicle (10), a plurality of pre-trained parameters, and the received input from the user.
