Abstract: A SYSTEM FOR EMISSION CONTROL FOR BOILERS ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a system (100) for emission control for boilers, configured to remove particulate matter from flue gases. The system (100) comprises a boiler (102) for generating flue gases, a heat recovery unit (104) for extracting waste heat, a Rotary Drum Emission Control (RDEC) unit (106), an Induced Draft (ID) fan (108), and a chimney (110). The RDEC unit (106) includes a casing (204) with a conical inlet (206) and outlet (208), a rotary drum (202) rotatable along a longitudinal axis, and a plurality of baffles (210) arranged vertically inside the drum (202) to partition it into chambers (212). Each chamber (212) has top and bottom openings to direct flue gases toward the casing wall (214), facilitating particulate deposition. Scrapers (218) positioned at the bottom of the drum continuously remove deposited particulates into a dust collection chamber. (
