Abstract: The present invention discloses a system for dynamic nozzle adjustment in multi-material additive manufacturing configured to improve deposition precision, material transition quality, and fabrication accuracy during 3D printing operations. The system comprises a multi-channel extrusion assembly, a dynamic nozzle adjustment subsystem, a sensor feedback subsystem, an embedded control unit, and an automated material switching subsystem. Real-time operational parameters including temperature, viscosity, flow rate, extrusion pressure, and positional alignment are continuously monitored and processed through adaptive control algorithms. Piezoelectric or servo-driven actuator mechanisms dynamically regulate nozzle position, orientation, flow rate, and thermal conditions independently for each material channel. An automated purging subsystem minimizes material cross-contamination during material switching operations and ensures clean deposition transitions. The invention improves interfacial bonding, dimensional accuracy, mechanical performance, and operational efficiency for fabrication of complex multi-material and functionally graded structures suitable for aerospace, biomedical, automotive, and advanced manufacturing applications.
