Abstract: ABSTRACT A System for Determining Distance to Empty of a Vehicle and a Method Thereof The present invention relates to a system (100) and method (200) for determining a Distance to Empty (DTE) of a vehicle (10) for a current ride. The system (100) has a Battery Management System (BMS) (102) configured to be connected to one or more battery packs (104) and receive a pre-defined set of parameters corresponding to the one or more battery packs (104). The system has a control unit (106) connected to the BMS (102) and configured to determine the DTE of the vehicle (10) based on a filtered energy consumption value and the pre- defined set of parameters. The filtered energy consumption value is estimated based on a plurality of historical energy consumption values and filter configuration data corresponding to a current user profile.
