MUMBAI, India, Sept. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641101491 A) filed by Panjwani, Jaynil; Agrawal, Neha; and Tapaswi, Shashikala on August 22, 2026, for A System For Cooperative Vehicular Safety With Pixel-Adaptive Illumination.
Inventors include Panjwani, Jaynil; Agrawal, Neha; and Tapaswi, Shashikala.
The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a cooperative V2X awareness layer comprising a dual-channel transceiver, configured to transmit and receive V2V packets at 10 Hz carrying turn/lane-change intent, braking state, GPS-referenced pose, and hazard alert level from nearby vehicles on the road; each zone of the micro-LED array is connected to a 1 kHz PWM controller and carries a micro-optic steering element, the pixel-adaptive LED matrix illumination subsystem (102) is configured to receive validated instructions from a digital twin reasoning layer (110) and achieve physical LED change; the HDR camera (106) provides per-pixel class labels including vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists, lane markings, traffic signals, road signs, and toll structures, synchronously with the LiDAR sensor (104); and a digital twin reasoning layer (110) comprising an edge-resident computational digital twin holding a live six-layer state model updated every sensor cycle, configured to perform Monte Carlo trajectory simulation projecting current kinematics, V2X intent signals.
