MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611089502 A) filed by Chitkara University on July 22, 2026, for A System For Computational Polyherbal Formulation Design With Wet-Lab Feedback Loop.
Inventors include Dr. Sonia Dhiman; Dr. Shareen Singh; and Dr. Thakur Gurjeet Singh.
The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.
Abstract: The present invention Disclosed is a closed-loop system for polyherbal formulation design comprising a formulation design platform (100), processors (101), memory (102), an analytical data acquisition subsystem (110), a data ingestion interface (120), an interaction/toxicity predictor (300), a multi-objective optimizer (400), an experimental design module (500), a marker-compound standardization model (600), a batch variability correction module (700), a report generator (800), and a wet-lab assay stage (1000). The analytical data acquisition subsystem (110) receives phytochemical fingerprints linked to sample identifiers and calibration states. The multi- objective optimizer (400) generates bounded ingredient ratios, while the experimental design module (500) dispatches selected candidates to a robotic liquid handler (1010). A microplate reader (1040) returns assay measurements through a feedback qualification gate (1050), which admits only quality-controlled results. A closed- loop update controller (450) generates a bounded ratio-correction vector and updates ranking only when validation error is not increased, thereby improving reproducibility, batch correction, and grounded formulation standardization.
