The application for the patent was published on October 09, 2026, under issue no. 41/2026.
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a system (100) for classification of histopathological images that comprises an image acquisition unit (102), a processing unit (104), a graphics processing unit (124), a memory unit (126), a storage unit (128), a display unit (130), and a communication interface (132), wherein the processing unit (104) comprises a pre-processing module (106), a feature extraction module (108), a feature processing module (110), a clustering module (112), a cluster feature generation module (114), a feature integration module (116), a classification module (118), a prediction module (120), and a result management module (122). The system (100) pre- processes acquired histopathological images, extracts and processes feature representations, applies K-Means clustering, generates cluster-derived features, integrates the feature representations with the cluster-derived features, and applies an XGBoost classifier to generate a histopathological classification prediction.
