Each of the plurality of battery packs has a battery management system (104). Further, the system (100) has a charger (102) configured to charge the plurality of battery packs (104a). Furthermore, the system (100) has a control unit (106). The control unit (106) receives parameters from the plurality of management systems (104) and selects a first battery management system from the plurality of battery management systems (104) to communicate with the charger (102).
