Abstract: ABSTRACT A System for Charging an Energy Storage Unit in a Vehicle and a Method thereof The present invention relates to a system for charging an energy storage unit in a vehicle and a method thereof. The system (100) includes a first energy storage unit (102) and a second energy storage unit (104). An energy conversion unit (106) supplies energy from the first energy storage unit (102) to the second energy storage unit (104). A control unit (108) receives a parameter indicative of a state of operation of the first energy storage unit (102). The control unit (108) compares the parameter with a predetermined threshold range. Further, the control unit (108) controls the energy conversion unit (106) when the parameter is within the predetermined threshold range to convert a first voltage level being supplied from the first energy storage unit (102) to a second voltage level being supplied to the second energy storage unit (104).
