The system (100) comprises a sample tray (10) having a plurality of cuvette positions (12), an in-situ incubation assembly (20) including a heater (22), a temperature sensor (24), and an incubation controller (26), a visible-spectrum sensing unit (30) including a visible light source (32) and a digital image sensor (34), an ultraviolet sensing unit (40) including an ultraviolet light source (42) and a photodetector (44), a tray positioning assembly (60), and a control unit (50) including a processor (52) and memory (54). The control unit (50) controls tray rotation, incubation, image data acquisition, and ultraviolet absorbance measurement to generate assay results. The system (100) determines wavelength-equivalent absorbance values from image data and performs visible-spectrum biochemical analysis and ultraviolet biochemical analysis independently and in parallel.
