Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system (106) for ejecting air filters (122) of an Air Conditioner (AC) (100). The system (106) includes a front flap (120), a filter tray (124), a gear assembly (126), and a control unit (118). The gear assembly (126) is positioned in the indoor unit (102) and is adapted to be engaged with the filter tray (124). Further, the control unit (118) is communicatively coupled with the gear assembly (126), the front flap (120). The control unit (118) is configured to receive a cleaning command from a user. The control unit (118) operates a first swing motor (128-1) to open the front flap (120) based on received command. The control unit (118) operates a second swing motor (128-2) to engage the gear assembly (126) to filter tray (124) to slide the filter tray (124) to facilitate ejection of the one or more air filters (122).
