Abstract: The present invention discloses an integrated system for holistic life-cycle performance evaluation of hybrid bio-based and recycled fiber structural composite materials. The system comprises a material preparation subsystem characterizing hybrid composites incorporating bio-based natural and recycled synthetic fiber reinforcements, operatively coupled to an accelerated aging subsystem applying hygrothermal, thermal cycling, ultraviolet, chemical, and combined mechanical- environmental conditioning. A multi-parameter mechanical evaluation subsystem assesses property retention across conditioned states, while a degradation modeling subsystem generates service life predictions using phenomenological and Arrhenius-based models. A life-cycle assessment subsystem quantifies environmental impact across the complete material lifecycle, and a multi-sector benchmarking subsystem evaluates suitability across construction, automotive, marine, and wind energy environments. An end-of-life subsystem assesses recyclability and recovered fiber quality. A data integration subsystem generates holistic performance profiles and design recommendations, providing improved durability characterization, enhanced sustainability assessment, reduced design conservatism, and optimized material selection for structural composite applications.
