Abstract: The present invention relates to a system for AI-assisted radar-based collision avoidance in vehicles. The system comprises at least one radar sensing unit configured to detect surrounding objects by transmitting radar signals and receiving reflected radar signals, a radar signal processing unit configured to generate radar object tracks, an artificial intelligence inference module configured to classify detected objects and predict their movement behaviour, a trajectory prediction module configured to estimate future object positions relative to the vehicle path, and a collision risk assessment module configured to generate a dynamic collision risk score. A response generation module selects preventive actions such as driver alert, brake pre-conditioning, speed reduction, emergency braking, steering assistance, or hazard communication according to the collision risk score. A fail-safe validation module supervises artificial intelligence outputs using safety thresholds to improve reliability. The system reduces false warnings, improves real-time threat assessment, and supports safer operation of manual, semi-autonomous, and autonomous vehicles. Accompanied Drawing [FIGS. 1-2]
