Inventors include Dr. R. Vijayakumar; Dr. J. Glorypersial; Dr. A. Philip Arokiadoss; and Ms. I. Angel Agnes Mary.

The application for the patent was published on September 04, 2026, under issue no. 36/2026.

Abstract: The present invention provides a system (100) for adaptive statistical data analysis and predictive forecasting. The system comprises a data acquisition interface (106), data conditioning engine (108), statistical characterization engine (110), feature construction engine (112), predictive processing engine (114), forecast evaluation engine (116), drift detection engine (118), adaptive control engine (120), forecast repository (122), and output interface (124). Received data is conditioned according to detected data-quality characteristics and converted into a statistical state representation indicative of statistical behaviour of the data. The statistical state representation controls feature construction and selection of candidate predictive configurations for generating candidate forecasts. Composite reliability values are determined from prediction error, forecast uncertainty, and one or more additional evaluation parameters. Statistical drift is determined by comparison of current and reference statistical state representations. In response to detected drift and predictive reliability, the adaptive control engine modifies subsequent conditioning, feature construction, predictive configuration selection, weighting, or recalibration operations. A final predictive forecast is generated by reliability-based selection or combination of candidate forecasts, thereby providing adaptive predictive processing under changing data conditions.
