MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641094528 A) filed by Vels Institute Of Science, Technology & Advanced Studies Vistas on August 04, 2026, for A System And Method Of Ai-Based Automatic Tumor Temperature Regulation During Hyperthermia Treatment.
Inventors include R. Sajitha Rubini; and A. Selvaraj.
The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.
Abstract: Disclosed is a system (100) for AI-based automatic tumor temperature regulation during hyperthermia treatment. The system (100) comprises a temperature sensing unit (102), an AI controller (104), a heating applicator (106), a cooling system (108), a mathematical modelling unit (110), a finite element method simulation unit (112), an optimization engine (114), and a feedback control unit (116). The temperature sensing unit (102) measures the temperature of a tumor region in real time and generates temperature data. The mathematical modelling unit (110) generates a heat transfer model based on Casson blood flow, magnetohydrodynamic effects, thermal radiation, porous tissue behaviour, and nanofluid heat transfer. The finite element method simulation unit (112) generates a temperature profile. The optimization engine (114) determines optimized treatment parameters. The feedback control unit (116) activates heating, cooling, or maintenance conditions to maintain the tumor temperature within a predefined therapeutic temperature range.
