Abstract: The present disclosure proposes a system (100) and method for detecting, mitigating, and neutralizing electrical leakage within a water flow path of a water heater using water-domain sensing, controlled fluid routing, and electrical neutralization mechanisms to ensure safe hot-water delivery. The system (100) comprises a primary housing (102) enclosing a storage tank (106), an inlet conductivity classification sensor (118), a secondary housing (112) including a sensing chamber (134) and a neutralization chamber (136), IMPN sensors (158), ETMGD sensors (160), a conductive element (164), a resistor dissipation network (130), a high-impedance verification sensor (162), a controller (120), and plurality of solenoid valves (146, 148, 150, and 152). The controller (120) detects electrical anomaly conditions, diverts electrified water to the neutralization chamber (136), dissipates leakage electrical energy, verifies electrical neutrality, and permits release of electrically safe water through the water outlet (110), thereby preventing electrified water from reaching a user.
