MUMBAI, India, Aug. 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611081238 A) filed by Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun on July 01, 2026, for A System And Method For Voltage-Level Power Management In A Grid-Connected Hybrid Renewable Energy Generation System.
Inventors include Sarthak Pundir; Dr. Arun Pratap Singh Rathod; and Dr. Anubha Pundir.
The application for the patent was published on August 14, 2026, under issue no. 33/2026.
Abstract: The invention relates to access control for cyber-physical systems, and more particularly to a physiological-contextual adaptive access control system and method that combine biometric identity verification with real-time physiological state assessment. A body-worn physiological monitoring apparatus continuously acquires synchronized cardiac electrical activity and thoracic mechanical movement, while an access terminal captures a live biometric sample during an access request. A fusion processor synchronizes the inputs, verifies identity against stored biometric reference material using a cancelable template process, extracts physiological features including heart rate variability, ECG morphology, respiratory rate, and thoracic excursion patterns, and classifies the user condition into a physiological state vector. A dynamic policy engine applies rule-based decisions to the verified identity output and physiological state vector to enforce graded authorization, including full access, restricted access, denied access, or emergency override, thereby improving security, safety, and context-aware control in protected cyber-physical environments.
