The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: A system (100) and method (200) for non-invasive stress assessment of a remote worker are disclosed. The system (100) comprises an acoustic capture module (101) configured to capture ambient audio through a computing device microphone, a signal processing module (102) configured to filter and isolate non-speech acoustic events, and a feature extraction module (103) configured to generate acoustic stress features. A stress inference engine (104) comprising a machine learning model determines a stress score, while a personalization module (105) establishes a user-specific baseline. A context filtering module (106) removes non-user-generated acoustic events, and a privacy module (107) excludes speech content. A user interface module (108) generates stress alerts based on comparison performed by a threshold evaluation module (109), while a local processing module (110) performs on-device computation. The method comprises capturing, processing, extracting, inferring, determining, establishing a baseline, filtering, excluding speech, comparing a dynamic threshold, and generating an intervention prompt.
