Abstract: ABSTRACT A System and Method for Smart Rehabilitation Monitoring and Recovery Assessment The disclosure provides a system and method for smart rehabilitation monitoring and recovery evaluation. During the rehabilitation activities, the system collects multi-modal physiological and biomechanical information from a plurality of sensing modules. The information acquired is synchronized by an adaptive physiological synchronization module and validated by a sensor reliability validation module to enhance the reliability of data. The system detects compensatory movement patterns, evaluates neuromuscular adaptation, identifies rehabilitation phase transitions and computes a multi-domain recovery confidence index for objective assessment of functional recovery. A rehabilitation load self- regulation module dynamically adjusts the therapy intensity according to the patient adaptation. A recovery trend stabilization module and a personalized recovery signature generator evaluate the long-term rehabilitation progression. An adaptive rehabilitation recommendation module generates personalized therapy recommendations supported by an explainability and clinical evidence module that provides transparent technical justification for each recommendation. The disclosed system improves the accuracy of rehabilitation assessment, therapy personalization, recovery monitoring reliability, and clinical decision support through the coordinated analysis of synchronized physiological and biomechanical information.
