Abstract: ABSTRACT A System and Method for Smart Orthopedic Rehabilitation and Musculoskeletal Health Assessment Using Wearable Sensors The present disclosure relates to a system and method for smart orthopedic rehabilitation and musculoskeletal health assessment via wearable sensors, Digital Biomechanical modeling and adaptive therapeutic guidance. The system comprises a plurality of wearable sensing devices, a communication module, and a processor and a memory configured to obtain and process physiological and biomechanical data associated with a user. The processor performs multi-modal sensor fusion, biomechanical feature extraction and creates a patient-specific Digital Biomechanical that characterizes musculoskeletal structures and recovery conditions. The system also carries out neuromuscular symmetry analysis, compensatory movement detection, joint load redistribution, tissue healing estimation, micro-movement recovery assessment, rehabilitation readiness prediction, recovery trajectory forecasting and musculoskeletal risk evaluation. The system generates dynamic personalized rehabilitation plans and adaptive therapeutic recommendations according to continuously updated information about recovery. The disclosed invention provides improved rehabilitation monitoring accuracy, proactive risk identification, optimized therapeutic intervention, enhanced recovery assessment and intelligent personalized orthopedic rehabilitation management.
