The application for the patent was published on July 24, 2026, under issue no. 30/2026.
Abstract: The present invention discloses a system and method for ensuring the safety of a person sitting inside a car during oxygen depletion by automatically monitoring and regulating the in-cabin air environment. The system comprises an oxygen sensor, carbon dioxide sensor, humidity sensor, weight sensor, and motion sensor for detecting occupancy and environmental conditions inside the vehicle. A microcontroller continuously analyzes sensor data and identifies unsafe levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide, or humidity. Upon detection of any parameter crossing preset safety thresholds, the controller activates an actuator interfaced with the vehicle’s window motor to lower the window by a few inches, enabling natural ventilation and restoring safe oxygen concentration. The invention autonomously prevents hazardous conditions such as loss of consciousness or respiratory distress arising from poor ventilation in enclosed vehicles, ensuring reliable protection for occupants including children, elderly individuals, or sleeping passengers.
