Abstract: The present invention relates to a system (100) and method (200) for reducing hand and finger stiffness of a user. The system (100) and method (200) include a glove body (110) configured to be worn on a hand of the user, an IMU sensor (120) on the glove body (110) for detecting a gesture, and a microcontroller (130) operatively connected to the IMU sensor (120) for processing an input signal corresponding to the detected gesture. A stiffness detection arrangement (140), including motion analysis (142) and pressure or flex sensing (144), assesses a stiffness level of the hand and fingers. Based on the assessed stiffness level, the microcontroller (130) sequentially initiates warm therapy by a heating element (150) and adaptive massage by a massage actuator or vibration motor (160). A timer & safety control module (170) monitors duration and temperature during operation.
