Abstract: ABSTRACT A SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RECONSTRUCTION OF DOCUMENT READING STRUCTURE The present invention relates to a system (102) for deterministic reconstruction of document reading structure from optical character recognition (OCR) output. The system (102) receives recognized text data together with bounding box coordinate data corresponding to text lines extracted from a document image through a receiving module (210) coupled with a processor (204). A normalization module (212) determines normalized page geometry by computing usable text boundaries and a page centre reference. A classification module (214) identifies centered structural text lines based on relative line width and midpoint alignment. A detecting module (216) determines paragraph boundaries using deterministic spatial evaluation. A reconstruction module (218) restores text continuity by detecting terminal character conditions to generate structured text output representing reconstructed document reading order, thereby enabling resolution- independent and reproducible document structure reconstruction.
