Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method for real-time patient tracking and event prediction in clinical environments. A location tracking unit 301 assigned to a patient transmits a unique identifier upon entry into a surgical pathway. A local detection unit 303 at predefined hospital zones detects the identifier and generates timestamped zone transition events. A local processing unit 305 filters duplicates, validates transitions and converts events into structured data. A network connectivity unit 307 transmits the structured data to a central processing and storage unit 309, which stores data in an encrypted database and executes predictive analytics models trained on historical surgical workflow data to estimate surgery completion, recovery readiness or procedural delay. A user interface unit 311 delivers real-time predictive notifications to caregivers, enabling automated low-latency patient tracking across pre-operative, operative and post-operative zones. FIG. 3
