Abstract: The present invention relates to a cyber-physical system for real-time monitoring, predictive analysis, and traceability of food quality across a supply chain. The system comprises a plurality of sensor nodes configured to capture environmental and biochemical parameters including temperature, humidity, and gas concentration associated with food items. An edge processing module preprocesses the captured data, and a predictive analytics engine processes the data to determine food quality, estimate remaining shelf life, and detect degradation patterns. The system further includes a traceability module configured to securely record food quality data, enabling tracking across different stages of the supply chain. The invention is characterized by continuous correlation of multi-parameter sensor data with predictive models to dynamically generate a real-time food quality index. The invention enables proactive monitoring, reduces food wastage, and improves supply chain efficiency through timely alerts and data-driven decision-making.
