MUMBAI, India, Sept. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521070462 A) filed by Fitshild Dietfood Private Limited on July 24, 2025, for A System And Method For Real Time, Multi- Dimensional, Personalization Of Food Items.
Inventor includes Rahul Nanjibhai Virani.
The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT A system and method for real-time, multi-dimensional personalization of food items is disclosed. The system comprises a ranking engine (100) that generates candidate food items via a retrieval step (101), scores each candidate using a plurality of scoring modules (102) including goal-matching, nutrition, personalization, semantic similarity, popularity, trending, and context-awareness, combines the scores into a final score through a learned weighted sum (103), and applies post-rank diversity filtering (104) to output a final ranked list of dishes (105). A feedback and model update method (200) logs user interaction data (201-203), updates stored features (204), and retrains the ranking engine (205), forming a closed-loop system. A data collection module (300), processing module (400), feature engineering module (500), and retrieval module (600) supply and prepare data for the ranking engine. Unlike prior art, which lacks consumer-unique real-time datasets and pre-consumption dietary guidance, the invention delivers personalized recommendations before food intake. Fig.7
