MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641078079 A) filed by Aigle Digital Intelligence Private Limited on June 24, 2026, for A System And Method For Orchestrator-Driven Automatic Neighboring- Camera Discovery And Topology Learning.

Inventor includes Swetha Prashanth.

The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.

Abstract: A system and method for automatic self-learning orchestrator-driven neighboring-camera discovery and security topology learning in a multi-camera surveillance deployment are disclosed. An orchestrator selects a camera for a discovery cycle and causes the selected camera to emit a predefined observable signature, wherein only one selected camera emits the observable signature at a time. Video feeds from one or more observer cameras operating in an Observer Mode are analyzed to determine whether the selected camera or the observable signature appears in those feeds. Based on such detections, the orchestrator derives and confirms neighboring-camera relationships and stores the confirmed relationships in a structured topology model. The topology model may further include coverage indication, overlap indication, directional adjacency, confidence values, likely handoff paths, and blind-spot alert information. The learned topology may be reused in coordinated multi-camera security operations including cross-camera continuity, blind-spot reduction, prioritized search, duplicate alert reduction, security event handoff, and topology refresh after deployment changes.
