MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611090288 A) filed by Upes, Dehradun on July 24, 2026, for A System And Method For Multi-Target Compilation Of Declarative Cloud Infrastructure Deployment.

Inventors include Dr. Nadeem Yousuf Khanday; and Nitanshu Tak.

The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.

Abstract: The invention relates to cloud infrastructure deployment and, more particularly, to provider-independent compilation of declarative infrastructure definitions into synchronized deployment artefacts. A CloudDSL source input component feeds a processor-based compiler 100 having lexical analysis 110, syntax analysis 120, semantic analysis 130, abstract syntax tree generation 140, optimization 150, and code generation 160 in a six-phase dependency chain. Semantic analysis 130 normalizes deployment semantics into a provider-neutral infrastructure model, validates constraints, analyses dependencies, and maps capabilities across heterogeneous cloud platforms to detect provider-specific conflicts before deployment. A typed Abstract Syntax Tree generated at 140 serves as a target-independent intermediate representation, which optimization 150 transforms by injecting default deployment nodes and inferring scaling configuration. Code generation 160 deterministically produces a container build specification, Kubernetes manifest, and cloud-provider deployment script for provisioning, orchestration, monitoring, and scaling, thereby reducing inconsistencies and provisioning failures through compile-time verification. Fig. 2 best characterises the invention.
