The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a system (100) and method for multi-stage chaotic image encryption and decryption of digital images. An image encryption subsystem (112) receives an input image (102) and generates image-dependent encryption parameters using a master secret key and an image hash. The image encryption subsystem (112) performs Rubik-based pixel permutation, chaotic keystream generation using a Tent map and Cellular Automata, nonlinear value transformation, XOR-based diffusion, and feedback reseeding to generate an encrypted image for transmission through a communication channel (120). An image decryption subsystem (134) receives the encrypted image, regenerates the encryption parameters, performs reverse XOR diffusion, reverse nonlinear value transformation, and reverse Rubik permutation, and reconstructs an output image (140). The disclosed system provides enhanced key sensitivity, reduced pixel correlation, and accurate reconstruction of the original image. Representative
