Abstract: This invention presents a novel system and method for the early detection and risk stratification of multiple systemic diseases. The system uses artificial intelligence to simultaneously analyze 2D retinal fundus photographs and 3D Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) scans. Its primary purpose is to non-invasively predict a patient's risk for cardiovascular, kidney, and neurological disorders from a single eye examination. The key benefit of this invention is its unique hybrid fusion model, which combines a Vision Transformer (ViT), a 3D Convolutional Neural Network (3D CNN), and a Graph Neural Network (GNN). This multi-stream approach allows the system to overcome the significant challenge of overlapping symptoms found in retinal images, leading to a more accurate and specific risk assessment than existing technologies
